Hi — I'm Chris.

In my career I've driven a nuclear submarine as a US Navy officer, secured critical government computer systems, and made robots smarter. I've managed multi-million dollar projects, teams of Ph.Ds (though I only have a pair of Master degrees) and founded a couple of companies of my own. And the common thread I've discovered through all this is how crucial people skills are to achieving incredible technical results and pushing your career forward.

As a socially awkward introvert, I spent much of my career as a wallflower — watching, listening, making stellar technical contributions, but holding back. A few years ago, everything changed.
